Rectors of Kosovo's six public universities today held the joint conference to review the State Council of Quality announcement about meeting decisions of January 15th and January 16th 2019, for attracting accreditation and rejecting 42 research programmes.
According to the announcement from the conference, the State Council of Quality has shown irresponsability to legal provisions in force.
“O RCA as an eyewitness to the process comes to the conclusion that: The findings of the Conference of Public Universities Rectors, that the KSC has shown irresponsability to legal provisions, professional responsibility and political tendency in the face of their programmes are untrue and unstable”, said the ORCA report.
Of the new application for software accreditation, KSC has given the green light for 104 programmes, 53 of public universities and 51 private institutions, while rejecting 107 programmes, 28 of public universities and 79 private institutions.
During the wave of 185 existing programmes, accreditation has been continued to 124 public university programmes and 61 programmes of private institutions, meanwhile, has attracted accreditment for 74 programmes, 40 of public universities and 35 of private institutions.
