Albania's prime minister, Edi Rama, was sworn in this Tuesday evening to President Meta, thus officially taking over the post of foreign minister, for which he was voted in Parliament the previous day.
Contrary to what happened to the new ministers of government, this ceremony was rather short, rather than media.
Rama entered the presidency headquarters around 7:00 and left 10 minutes later, which implied that the meeting has been strictly formal and protocolally strict, but nothing more than that.
Rama took over the foreign ministry's leadership after President Meta refused Gent Cakaj's candidacy, which also brought an institutional clash between them -- the reason why the prime minister has declared he would address the Constitutional Court. / TCh
