Several different nongovernmental and civic organisations have called for protests against Vladimir Putin's visit to Serbia.

They have said this protest is against “degloreification, which is becoming to Putin's authoritarian regime in Serbia”.

These organisations and many citizens say that this visit by Putin and the praise being made by the media spurs the decline and damage of democratic institutions, citizens' rights and freedoms in Serbia.

These organisations have reminded Putin that 58 journalists have been killed in Russia from 1992 to 2019, which provides an alarm for media prospects in Serbia if they follow the Russia model of Putin.

Also, these NGOs have talked about the funding Putin did through various media in Serbia and nongovernmental organisations.

According to them, Putin's visit means abandoning Serbia's Euro-Atlantic integration path.

“Despite the fact that the Serbian executive denies it, this visit means abandoning reforms and Euro-Atlantic integration”, said one of the other by these NGOs, writes N1 television, broadcast newspaper Express.

For this visit, meanwhile, the Serbian state has made recent preparations yesterday. A total of 5,000 police forces have been committed to Puiti's security, while many cities have been ordered by Vuciqi to send a specific number of citizens to Belgrade to make the reception even more impressive.

Many central roads and main squares have been blocked, as some 70 thousand people are expected to participate in this reception.

Vucik's Putin is also expected to discuss the issue of the Republic of Kosovo.
