Pacolli has told of the difficulties Kosovo is going through in the process of recognition.
He said MPJ has not stopped working on the recognition process, but, as he said, “the world has become difficult”.
“Bota has become difficult, we have a marked geostrategic division in the world, and this does not allow recognitions to come as they came forward. I guarantee we've never stopped. We have worked and will work to make Kosovo have its friends. We're going bold ahead of”.
Pacolli also spoke of forming the Army, where he said the Kosovo Army is part of independent state aspirations.
We've made a decision to form the Army. Even though the Army takes time, a few years. The military is part of independent state aspirations. We saw it in the EU that it's not against this... ”, he said of the Ark.
As for the negotiating team, said this team will support the president, Hashim Thaci, in the dialogue.
“ ...as far as the challenge of forming the dialogue group is concerned, it is a group that will dialogue. This group will support the president in the dialogue. The group created in the government will be very careful in its work, and will define the topics that are in the dialog”, he said, among other things.
Deputy Prime Minister Pacolli, speaking to the Special Court, stressed that it is unfair for Kosovo to go through this challenge.
It's not my job to get involved in court, in this case in international court. It's unfair that we go through this challenge, but it happened and we have to get through it. This court will once again assert that our war has been a defence and not aggressive fight. We fought to protect the country and population”, Pacolli said.
