OʹConnell, in a Facebook post, has said he joins the people of Kosovo to commemorate Recak's victims, but also all victims in the last 30 years.

“Today I join the entire people of Kosovo to commemorate, for a moment, the victims of assassinations in Recak, and all the victims in the past thirty years”, he wrote.

Peace in the Balkans, he said, depends on justice for them and their families.

Zelensky and Trump face-to-face meeting at the G7 summit, also present, was discussed by the two leaders.
