OAK: Minister Hamza is blocking local production

Kosovo's Afarism Oda has reacted to delays in allowing first class to be made by Finance Minister Bedri Hamza, where, until now, according to ATK, only 23% of producers or about 40 businesses from about 170 applications that have applied so far. OAK through one [...]
OAK through a communiqué has demanded that this bureaucratic procedure be urgently interrupted and all producers be allowed to introduce raw materials as the law of all producers envisions.
“OAK estimates that these procedures, if necessary, should be carried out last year and expresses doubt that this procrastination is intentional and directly impacts the possibility of cutting off the work of many factories, which after the application of a 100-man tax from Prime Minister Haradinaj, local production has increased and the demand for raw materials has increased more than last year. OAK calls on Prime Minister Haradinaj to intervene immediately by taking steps against this minister, who is being very irresponsible. The reason for the demand is the producers' complaint about the release from the first class VAT. Every start of the year, local producers are obliged to apply to ATK for VAT release for first imported content, while post-admission implementation in Dogana begins. Early years of reviewing demand has been made for a shorter period of time, which has not prevented ongoing production businesses. Businesses are facing problems this year, as because of the failure to review these demands, the first subject has not been missed in Dogan, and as a result, businesses are being forced to pay for the stay of trucks and refrigerators on terminals and is also creating barriers to production”, the OAK communique says.
Kosovo's Afarism Oda requires that local producers be supported, allowing them to make the introduction of the first course into customs until the apps from ATK are considered.
Also, OAK requires that this procedure be removed so that businesses are not obliged to apply annually.
