(7 years ago)Allen and Anel Wykanovic, members of the Army of the Republic of Kosovo, have been detained today at the border crossing at Jarinje by Serbian authorities. They were released from there after three hours of interviewing, as General Nundman Rama indicated. The Serbian authorities' move has strongly reacted to Kosovo government Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj, who has sought their immediate release since he received information that they have been detained.
Even Deputy Defence Minister Burim Ramadani has said that these Serbian actions show once again why the tax decision is a decision that Belgrade deserves.
These actions of Serbia are in the wake of efforts and pressures on members of the Serb community to leave the Army of the Republic of Kosovo.
However, it seems that even Allen and Anel Wykanovic are proud to serve the Kosovo Army.
