Today, at approximately 12:00 p.m., a traphorus has begun to burn inside the Trepca facility, which is also owned by the company. At the same time, KOSTT's 110kV line in Mitrovica has been cut, and that has made Mitrovica without electricity, suggests KEDS through a media communique.
KEDS says it has immediately sent teams to the scene, where the management from Pristina has started to help these companies get over this situation as quickly as possible.
“KEDS has managed to restore electricity for about 2/3 of Mitrovica consumers, passing the supply from lines coming from Vushtrria, while there is no alternative for consumers supplied by Trepca and the COSTT line in Shupkofc, respectively, a part of Mitrovica and nearby villages, from Mitrovica in the direction of Vushtre”, notes in the communique.
