Nearly two decades after the end of the war in Kosovo, former KLA superiors will go to The Hague at the invitation of the Special Court. After ten days at the headquarters of the latter, former Llap Operative Zone Commander Rrustem Mustafa and former commander of the Drenica Operative Zone Sami Lushtaku will travel. A few days later, several other former KLA participants will be interviewed
Three years after the Kosovo Assembly vote for the establishment of Specialised Special Court Chambers, the first invitations from the specialised prosecutor arrived in December of the year we left. Former Commander KLA, Rrustem Mustafa, was the first person to publicly announce that he was invited by the prosecutor specialising in the interview.
Mustafa known as “Remi”, on January 14th of this year, will be submitted to The Hague for interview. Former commander of KLA, Sami Lushtaku.
Meanwhile, former Kosovo Liberation Army member Remzi Shala, known under the nickname “red Molla”, has received orders to appear in The Hague on January 17th 20th, 19th, while the former commander of the commander KLA, Nazif Mehmeti, known as commander “Dini”, has been invited by the Special Court in the 22nd and January 24th dates.
It is still not known whether they will be interviewed in the quality of suspects or only as witnesses.
