Iran's Deputy Commander-General of the Islamic Revolution Guard, Brigadier General Huseyin Peace, made this statement Monday, speaking to reporters at the margins of the first national conference on “the defence and security strategy of the Islamic Kingdom” in Tehran.
“We declare that if Israel were to take any steps to start a new war, no doubt this war would end with its elimination and conquered territories would be re-marken”, said General Peace.
Earlier Monday, General Hussein Salay, addressing the conference on “the defence and security of the Islamic Power”, said Iran is fighting against major world powers that have focused their full attention on defeating the Islamic Republic.
He stressed that Iran must gradually destroy enemy power by saying: “This is the first thing that can prepare the ground for achieving great victories under uneven conditions”.
Iran's Deputy General Commander of the Islamic Revolution Guard stressed that Iran did not have “direct physical admission” in the region, but there are great forces which are present throughout the region, which adopt access similar to those of the Islamic Republic.
