The mayor of Prizren University Union, Progress Avdullahu, has confirmed to Periscopi that the UPz is also on strike, but they are under the SBASK strike.
We are two weeks with the SBASK strike, with the reactor strike, we have no connection because our reactor didn't go to that conference where he was supposed to be the leader of the reactor conference. So it's not about this strike of ours with that of the reactors”, he said.
However, UPz students have announced about Periscope that they are taking exams, even though UPz is on strike. Avdullahu has said the exams are being held by those professors who are not part of the union.
It's somebody else's case, it's neither the SBASK nor the sector. Test dates were set earlier, before the strike began, those holding (the approvals) are not union members or SBASK members, they are holding (the approvals) according to their own wish, as they previously assigned to<1>, Avdullu has said.
Meanwhile, the education strike began on January 14th, when pre-school, elementary and medium-sized institutions stopped learning. Kosovo public universities have also been joined by the strike since today.
