Government Changes Trepca statute

Economic Development Minister Valdrin Luka has said the Trepca Company's supervisory board has changed the statute.

This statute is proposed by the company's board and the same is approved by the Parliament. All demands taken into account, he said.

Deputy Prime Minister Enver Hoxhaj called for clarification to address assets.

While Minister Luka said the asset assessment would be made.

“Assets are based on a feasibility study. There will also be an assessment of the value of these assets that will be presented at the Trepca business certificate”, Luka answered in Hoxhaj's question.

Finance Minister Bedri Hamza cited the shortcomings of this statute, voicing reluctance in its functioning as such.
