Ultra-rightist Alternative to Germany ( AfD) called on official Berlin today to abandon the European Union if it is not reformed, but gave up its original idea to set the deadline for five years.
This is the first time a German party mentioned the so-called “Gexit” -- Germany's withdrawal from the EU, Kosovo Press broadcasts.
This party's leader, Alexander Golan, however, warned that his party colleagues, under the adoption of an election platform for the European Parliament, did not specify a concrete date for a possible EU exit of Germany, broadcast German media.
“I don't think it is wise to enter the election at a maximum request,” he said at a congress in the town of Riza, after which a softer formula was adopted that says EU reform should be conducted at the right time.
He added that Great Britain's warning exit from the EU would affect voters in Germany as well. /Periscopi
