Daciq: In 2019, there is no Kosovo- Serbia

Serbian Minister of Foreign Affairs Ivica Dacic does not believe talks will be concluded during 2019 and any agreement between Kosovo and Serbia reached. He said whenever the agreement between Kosovo and Serbia is reached, it will be confirmed to the UN Security Council. The chief of Serbian diplomacy has said [...]
The chief of Serbian diplomacy has told the Serbian newspaper “Blic” that it was scheduled for the dialogue to be completed by the end of EU High Representative Federica Moghrini's mandate, which ends the mandate in the last four months of 2019, but Daciq doubts this could happen after the bloc of talks and that it says it is certain that Mogherin in the future will not be mediating in the talks, Telegraph states.
There are many reasons why the talks will not be concluded by the end of the year. Albanians are insisting the agreement can only be reached if we recognise Kosovo's independence”, Dacic said.
According to him, it is a major success that the topic of basic solutions has been turned into dialogue, not just technical issues.
Now all those for whom independence was indisputable are making way, as Americans are saying -- of relative solutions which would respect the positions of both sides”, he said.
Dacic said that the idea of border correction as a solution for Kosovo has not been abandoned, but that this idea has not been processed.
It's on the table [the correction], but it's not being discussed for this model. We do not give up any idea which has potential to bring to compromise”, he said.
Speaking about the format of the talks, he said that if there is a demand for change and the US will participate, Serbia will demand that Russia be included.
If a deal is reached, we will demand that it be confirmed in the Security Council, which means that the major powers be guarantor of the” agreement, Dacic said.
