Just 48 hours after being involved in a car accident, the Duke of Edinburgh, Prince Philip, has been seen driving without a seat belt.

The 97-year-old was photographed running a new Land Rover car without a seat belt, the BBC reports. Police have been informed of the photographs, had taken necessary measures, and spoke with Duka, giving him needed advice.

A police spokesman said this is a standard procedure when such images are denounced in violation of the law.

As the BBC adds, according to United Kingdom law, the driver and passengers are obliged to wear seat belts.

Otherwise, the policeman fines 100 pounds. If the case goes to court, the fine could go up to 500 pounds. But drivers don't get the points down when they're fined for not putting the belt.

In fact, it all happened only 48 hours after Prince Philip got involved in a traffic accident in Sandringham, where he crashed into another vehicle.

Duke suffered no injuries, even though his vehicle turned upside down.

And from the other car, Emma Fairweather broke her hand, and for The Mirror she said Prince Philip didn't even apologize. I'm lucky to be alive and he hasn't even apologized. I expected more from the Royal Family”, she said.

However, Emma added that she had received only one call from an liaison police officer who told her that Queen Elizabeth and Duke of Edinburgh wanted to ask about her. But, according to her, it's not an apology.
