According to Wall Street she's not that good for our health. Why? Well, most of the time, our body is hotter than the environment around us.
When it's cold, our bodies try to produce more heat. Drinking coffee these days can cause frequent urination and diarrhea.
And this is a “other way to lose body heat, because the fluid is much warmer than the outside environment”, says Alan Hedge, director of the Human Facts and Ergonomic Laboratory at Cornell University.
Another drink we shouldn't drink on a cold day is alcohol because it has diuretic effects and our body loses a lot of liquids it needs.
But what can you drink to warm up? The Mongols drank fresh or warm milk, which gave them the ability to have a steady, warm diet and large calories.
You can choose milky drinks and hot chocolate if you're not a milk fan.
A nice cup of chamola tea will also make you feel good.
