British MPs are preparing to vote today to approve Thereza Mayt's agreement on secession from the European Union. The most significant vote is sometimes expected to take place later in the day, after a nearly 5-day debate over “Brexit” ended.
May has called on all politicians to support its agreement, otherwise risk “disappoints the British people”. But, since many of its MPs are expected to join opposition parties to vote against the agreement, it is widely expected to be lost in this vote.
MPs could also suggest amendments that could improve the deal before the vote starts about 19 to 20 p.m.
The prime minister addressed MPs Monday afternoon in its latest effort to secure support for the agreement, which includes both the accord of withdrawal with conditions set between Britain and the EU, as well as a political declaration on future relations.
