Bedri Hamza: He hasn't seen a choice.

Finance Minister Bedri Hamza has said before MPs that the law allows the first month to be used by the budget, but for the following months the decision must be made by the Parliament.

He reiterated that the government has prosecuted him in the Assembly, and has been approved to the Commission on Business and Finance, and now remains to be voted on by MPs.

He also cited elections, where he said that without budget approval, the organisation of elections cannot be made.

If the situation comes to the elections, without the approved budget, I'm saying today that there's no money in the election organization either. You can then have banking balance as a shower, but to split the money for election organisation, no decision or no law, you can't, so I'm asking you to vote and have the country continue on with payments”, he said.
