World Bank President Jim Jong Kim announced his resignation today after more than six years in the post.

America's-born <x0).Crean will leave the post at the end of January”, the Washington-based World Bank announced in a statement.
This resignation came as a surprise after Kim had been voted for a second five-year term in 2016.

Kim is expected to become part of a company focused on infrastructure investments immediately after his departure from the World Bank. However, no detail has been made known about his new role. /Periscopi
