Archaeologists discover: Children were beheaded after death, their skull was placed between their legs

The mystery surrounds the discovery of the severed head of a fourth - century child who was buried with a skull bent between his legs.

Seventeen people similarly represented were discovered along with thirty - five other bodies.

The remains were discovered by archaeologists as they dug a Roman burial site near St Edmunds in Suffolk. Out of 52 skeletons, an equal mix of men and women -- along with the remains of a ten-year-old child -- was found, Kosovo passes.
