Albania's president, Ilir Meta, officially refused today to decree Gent Cakaj for his country's Minister of Foreign Affairs.
Cakaj was run by Albania's own prime minister, Edi Rama a few weeks ago, following Ditmir Bushat's dismissal.
Even the delay in Cakaj's decree was surprising and leaves today's refusal. He today gave his reasons for this, openly exposing himself to Prime Minister Rama. <x0)
Meta, who has been declared by Freedom House as the most corrupt man in Albania, would have been entitled to remain stood-in on the internal issues of the Republic of Kosovo. But, he already took sides and lined up side by side with the opposition in Kosovo, Albin Kurti and Isa Mustaf, but, of course, alongside his friend Ramush Haradinaj. But not alone. He in Albania has strengthened the alliance that his wife's party, Monica Krygari, has with Sali Berisha's party.
Sali Berisha has shown more aggressive and undiplomatic than anyone else in this major nationwide political struggle. But, on the other hand, it was President Thaci to him.
Meta's current reaction is far from being objective and would have to be followed by protest officers from the Republic of Kosovo, as it goes beyond a single name, and links with the Kosovo internal issue ʹ final agreement with the Republic of Serbia.
A corrupt Albanian president does not belong to guard the borders of the Republic of Kosovo.
