The event took place during the afternoon Wednesday, in the Nea Philadelphia area of the Hellenic capital, at the time that the 60-year-old, whose name is not made public at the moment, was working on a dock.
Under circumstances still unknown, the 60-year-old Albanian lost his balance and collapsed from a height of over 10m, finding immediate death. It is learned that he was working unbound with the seat belts, Tch reports.
His body was sent to the Athens morgue, where forensic expertise is expected to be conducted, while police stopped the site's supervisor.
The AEK team expressed condolences for the deceased's family and vowed to support the family economically. /Periscopi
