There are at least 5,000 species of bacteria in the human body

Following the editorship of bacteria in the human body, of the approximately 1,500 species known so far, nearly 5 000, where most, about 77%, were unknown, according to a study published in the magazine “Cell”, run by Italy, with the Trent University bioinformatics group and co-ordinated by Nicola [...]
After analyzing nearly 10,000 samples collected throughout the continents, researchers have been able to catalog more than 150,000 plant genomes, revealing that in non-Western populations, such as African and South American, there are species of bacteria that are rare in industrialized countries.
The reason for this can be related to various life - styles, such as different diets and various use of antibiotics.
The next step will be to understand the connection between these bacteria and chronic diseases, such as autoimmune pathologists, obesity, diabetes, and oncological diseases.
