Over 15 thousand accidents and 126 traffic victims in 2018

According to Kosovo police, during the past 12 months of 15 thousand and 601 accidents as total as there have been, fatally 97 where 126 people have lost their lives.

Among those who lost their lives in traffic were exiles.

The worst case was that of 32-year-old Jeton Sadiki, who lost his life along with his four family members in a traffic accident that took place in Duhdhl, Suhareka.

The fatal accident was for two girls from Pristina, one 31 year old and the other 23, which was hit by a car in “B” Street.

On the last night of 2018, a serious accident occurred at Penuh, Podujevo, where a 32 - year - old woman died.

Indeksonline police have said they call on all participants in traffic for increased care, especially drivers.

It should be noted that the death toll in communications during 2018 was lower than in 2017, where 137 people died.

Otherwise, during 2018 the police also pronounced hundreds of thousands of tickets.

According to them, during the following year, 373 thousand 814, which is about 2 thousand more foretold tickets than during 2017, were pronounced.
