Kosovo Parliament Speaker Kadri Veselin is visiting Macedonia, where he has met with Macedonian Parliament Speaker Talat Xhaferi. From there, Wessel has called for all citizens of Macedonia to come out and vote for Macedonia's integration into the European Union and NATO.
Wessel has declared that Kosovo whatever is the will of Macedonia's citizens for the name will respect it, but the Western Balkans, how long it has been long behind because of the differences between them and these countries should think about moving towards the European Union, and that is why Kosovo gives strong support to Macedonia for the name.
“Macedonia would be earlier part of NATO and the EU if it were to overcome its problems, as Kosovo and Serbia could overcome integration processes if they were to overcome problems among themselves. That's why I call on the citizens of Macedonia on Sunday's masovically to address the decision-making that opens your country's perspective towards the European Union and NATO, to say yes to referendum”, he has said.
He added that Kosovo has no territorial claims with any state and wants to be respected by all as a state, saying it will not be allowed in the agreement between Kosovo and Serbia to have a negative precedent for using elsewhere in international law.
Macedonia's Parliament Speaker Talat Xhaferi has said that the Republic of Macedonia welcomes the beginning of final negotiations with Serbia with the conviction that this opening of the new chapter of relations between the two peoples, but also presents strong impulses for closing open issues in the region.
