The leadership of the Vetevendosje Movement has invited the Democratic League of Kosovo to organise a joint protest. This is because of the recent developments taking place in the country.
“After discussions of the members of the leadership was made to invite the Democratic League of Kosovo for joint organisation of the protests and to start preparing for them. From the Headship of the V The chairman, Albin Kurti, Deputy Chairman Besnik Bislimi, Vice President Fatmire Mulhrama-Kolcak, and Parliamentary Group of the V Movement are charged. GIuk Konjufca, to establish contacts and hold meetings with LDK leadership. It is necessary that at the earliest point tomorrow the date of the protest must be determined”, said their announcement.
Furthermore, the VV has called for Ramush Haradinaj's resignation, as well as the country to go to the polls.
VV has given this attitude:
Kosovo President Hashim Thaci, without the mandate of the Parliament, is running in negotiations without principles with Serbia's President Aleksandar Vuciq. We cannot allow deals with the sovereignty, territory and borders of Kosovo. The president of Kosovo's personal adventure is unacceptable. He is deceiving both the citizens of Kosovo and those of eastern Kosovo. So he must leave.
The minority government is boycotting the Republic Assembly. Kosovo Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj must resign. The country must go to new parliamentary elections. We seek free, democratic and fair elections. The new legitimacy of a new government is needed.
Kosovo institutions are not functioning. The Assembly is blocked. Serbia's president will come to Kosovo this weekend, but the Kosovo government and police will not arrest him. Thaci-Vucciq is obvious. Serbia's president should not be allowed to enter Kosovo.
The sooner changes are needed to save the Republic of Kosovo. Protests are necessary. The readiness of the people is high. Because it's massively understood the damage that delay can do. Let's go back to the citizens and fill the squares together. Let's organize citizens' gatherings for civic protests.
To preserve and protect citizenship and independence, sovereignty and constitutionality, the territorial and institutional integrity of the Republic of Kosovo, our population in its lands!
