“Unfulfilled dreams” of the accused for genocide

Serbian President Aleksandar Vuciq's statements, during his visit to northern Kosovo last weekend, through which he extolled former Serbian President Slobodan Milosevic's image, are controversial and at the expense of achieving peace among peoples, assess leaders and representatives of the highest institutions in Kosovo. Kosovo President Hashim Thaci has said [...]
Kosovo President Hashim Thaci has said that during Vuciqi's visit to Kosovo, statements of peace, understanding, good neighbourly relations and the need and necessity for agreements with Kosovo Albanians have been heard from him.
At the same time, according to him, there have also been reports of boycotts for, as he has called the Balkan <x0-casap, the responsible genocide in Kosovo and Bosnia, as well as wars in Slovenia and Croatia, Slobodan Milosevq”.
I think both of these don't go together. The height of Balkan Council image, Slobodan Milosevic and his generals, but also invitations to peace, understanding, neighbouring and agreement do not go parallel to each other. Therefore, I appreciate that it was a wrong opinion and a wrong attitude, not necessary or helpful in creating a better atmosphere of dialogue and negotiations. When Slobodan Milosevic is mentioned, the worst evil is mentioned after the Nazi era in Europe, not only in relation to Albanians but also to other nations”, Thaci stressed.
He has added that such Vuciqi statements attack Euro-Atlantic values.
President Vuciq, the statement about Milosevic, was made during his speech in Northern Mitrovica, before several thousand citizens at Sunday's gathering.
“Milosevqi was a major Serbian leader. The goals, however, had the best, but the results were pretty bad”, Vuciq declared.
Government officials have stressed that Serbian President Vuciq, through his statements praising Milosevic's figure, has generally violated the principles of good neighbourly commitments and for reaching a legally binding agreement. According to them, President Vuciq has violated the Union's confidence, but also the permit, which has been granted for the visit to Kosovo.
Halil Matoshi, political adviser to Kosovo Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj, tells Radio Free Europe that in his statement, Serbian President Vuciq, has praised Milosevqi, who has been the Serb leader accused of genocide and war crimes, and that, according to him, “has been the idealist of Serbia's consensual fascism in the 90<1>.
The “is a populism, which, said the least, testifies that Serbia's current president has not yet stopped thinking of submission and aggression towards Kosovo. He, although trying to soften this rhetoric, his mention, his praise for former Freedom Milosevich, should objectively serve as an alarm for the European Union and for the entire democratic world, because, simply, it is against the integration spirit in the region and at its wide ends”, Matos said.
Kosovo Parliament Speaker Kadri Veselini, through the social Facebook network, has said that Vuciki's visit to Kosovo also distracted Serbia's current policy thinking.
“Anyway, his visit I consider good that happened, because it was once again witnessed that Serbia's leaders are continuing Slobodan Milosevic's tradition. That they do not come to help and protect the Serbs in Kosovo, but come to promote themselves. As always with old rhetoric and against peaceful future”, Vessel said.
Representatives of opposition parties in Kosovo have responded to Vuciki's statements.
Vjosa Osmani, deputy of Kosovo's Parliament from the Democratic League of Kosovo, has written on the social network Facebook, which Vuicovic's statement warns of bad time for the Western Balkans.
“Vuciciqi in Kosovo called Milosevich a great elite, Milosevich's genocide fair fight, and expressed his pride with Dobrica Qosijqi and other Serbian hegemonist thinkers. Furthermore, he expressed territorial claims not only on Kosovo, but also on other states in the region. His speech today warns poor times for the Western Balkans; warns that Serbia continues to prefer not to human stability and tragedies. All of these packed in a speech that here mentioned peace and reconciliation”, MEP Osmani has said.
Regarding Vuciqi's visit and statements to Kosovo, he has reacted through the social Facebook network, the other opposition MP, Wisar Ymer from the Social Democrat Party.
In 1989, Serbia's powerful leader, Milosevic had chosen Gazimestan to appear as the protector of Kosovo Serbs. In 2018, Serbia's powerful leader, Vuciqi chose Kosovo's north to appear as the protector of Kosovo Serbs”, Ymer wrote.
On the other side, and the European Union has reacted Regarding Serbian President Aleksandar Vuciq's speech in Kosovo.
Maja Kocijanciq, European Union spokeswoman for the Western Balkans, has estimated that “should not allow any space for double understanding or praise” for those who have supported Milosevic's policy And his stock.
The local and international court decisions in this direction have been quite clear”, Kocijanciq said.

She has quoted European Commission Chairman Jean Claude Juncker, who long ago estimated that <x0-nationalistism has never solved the problems, but created them”.
Brussels' spokeswoman has stressed that all in the Western Balkans have European prospects, and from that point on, they must adhere to the principles of the European Union, meaning reconciliation and good relations between neighbours.
