Trump: Prosecutor Mueller's Investigation, Illegal

President Donald Trump said on Sunday, without citing facts, that the criminal investigation that is under way for the possibility of his 2016 election campaign links with Russia, “is not legally allowed”. By means of a Twitter comment, the American leader named <x0 illegal>” the investigation led by Special Prosecutor Robert Mueller, adding that he “continues to be in search of a crime”.
But Mr. Mueller was appointed by the Justice Department and judges have ruled that the investigation is being conducted legally.
Trump denied having co-operation with Russia, saying his rival, former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, has done this. He described Mr. Mueller's legal team as “17 angry Democrats... trying to find something, whatever. Too bad about the place. ”
But Mr. Trump did not comment on Sunday's Twitter concerning the latest 16-month investigation by prosecutor Mueller, presenting guilt Friday by former election campaign manager,
Paul Manafort, on charges of corruption, as well as a statement by prosecutors that Manafort is co-operating with them.
The 69-year-old Manafort, an experienced Washington lobbyist, was found guilty in August over charges of financial fraud and tax evasion by a Virginia court near Washington and he pleaded guilty to two counts of conspiracy.
In the most recent case, prosecutors agreed to clear him of charges related to his activity as lobbyist for former Ukrainian leader Viktor Yanukovych, before he worked for five months for Mr. Trump's 2016 campaign. This prosecutor's decision was taken in exchange for responding to the Manafort “in a complete way and truthfully” on questions related to “all cases” for which the Special Prosecutor Mueller's team is conducting investigations.
But it is not known to the public what information he can offer Mr. Mueller's Manafort regarding Mr. Trump's campaign, even though prosecutors freed him from certain charges after they first learned why he would speak.
Manafort played a role in an important case under investigation, Mr. Mueller: a June 2016 meeting in the Trump Tower in New York, the president's eldest son, Donald Trump Jr., with a lawyer allegedly a lawyer for the Russian government, offering to provide incriminating information for Mrs. Clinton. Donald Trump's son said this information was not received and President Trump said he was unaware of the meeting at the time.
After Manafort pleaded guilty, Mr. Trump's lawyer, Rudy Giuliani, said through a statement: “once again, an investigation has come to the conclusion with an admission that has nothing to do with President Trump, or his campus. Reason: The President has done nothing wrong and Paul Manafort will tell the truth.” But after a few minutes Giuliani revised his statement, removing the <x2 assessment > Paul Manafort will tell the truth”.
After Manafort was found guilty of the August charges, Trump said that “had great respect for that brave man because he refused to submit “to” so that he could forge up, in order to reach a “agreement” on his case.
I'm sorry about Paul Manafort and his wonderful”- Trump said. / VOA/
