According to the media statement, President Thaci has thanked Turkish President Erdogan for the support Turkey has given Kosovo in the process of increasing recognitions and membership in international organisations.
He has received Turkish President Erdoğan's support for Kosovo's membership process in INTERPOL, thus contributing to increased global security.
On the other hand, Turkey's president, Recep Tayip Erdoğan, has said he will engage personally in increasing the number of recognitions for Kosovo and in the process of membership in international organisations.

Finally, President Thaci has informed the Turkish president of the latest phase of dialogue on normalising relations between Kosovo and Serbia, and the necessity of reaching a final and legally binding agreement.
