Thaci for Army: I hope we don't make such mistakes in the morning.

Kosovo President Hashim Thaci has said he is unaware if anyone has taken a recent initiative to proceed to the Parliament with the Law to convert KSF into the military.

At the press conference, journalists asked Thaci, that according to their sources, the Government will undertake this initiative, but Thaci responded this way:

The first “for this proposal if it is true, the president of Kosovo is not informed. I don't think our partners are even informed, but if it's true I'll be notified in the next few minutes. My proposal differs from the current circumstances, when I proposed, has been a complete support of the United States and NATO in 2014. Because of the electoral egos we haven't been able to proceed to the Assembly. Now the circumstances are different, we have started together with the international community a process of consciousness and have arrived at a very important phase of co-ordination because when the Kosovo Armed Forces are established, they should be welcome and not any action on their heads and seriously hurt the multiethnic KSF mission. Today's proceedings are wrong, with this morning we deliver this message to our friends today. Do we have the right to have an army, we're right, but we have to do it in full co-ordination with the international partners”, he said./Periscopi/
