This may also be the reason for the small number of immigrants accepted by Italy through the Mediterranean (about 1550 persons).
In Spain it also notes a reduction, but again the 6,000 accession rate is relatively high. Switzerland is not a primary place for immigrants who come to Europe, as they first land in Spain, Italy or Greece, writes albinfo.ch.
The State Secretariat for Migration in Switzerland has completed 2376 asylum seekers in the first instance. Of them 394 had not entered Switzerland, where most had agreed to the Dablin Agreement (330). 589 received asylum, and 812 were temporarily accepted. The number of the first instance of suspended cases has dropped from last month to 14,011.
As for the nationalities or country of the origin of asylum seekers, the largest number of asylum seekers in Switzerland during August were Eritreas 209 (51 less than in July 2018), Syrians (109), Afghans (99), Turks (98) and Iraqis (74).
In August, 509 people were checked. Switzerland has asked another state of the Dablin Agreement for the admission of 516 asylum seekers, where 161 Sosh were sent to other countries. On the other hand, Switzerland has admitted 569 other asylum seekers from other countries in the Dablin Agreement.
100 people have moved to Switzerland.
