A Swedish university is investigating a professor for <x0 minusfeminism” and for “transfobi” after saying there are biological differences between men and women. He's being urged to withdraw his comments, writes RT, translate Periscopi.
Professor Germund Heslow, who works at the Lund University of neurophysiology, was charged by a student with saying “transphobic <x2-antiphystemics> and <x2 subfemining> in a lecture, and he refused to attract them.
During his course for “Heritage and Environment”, Heslow cited empirical research that supports the idea that there are differences between women and men on biological grounds, and therefore genders cannot be understood as the sole social structure “”.
The complainer has claimed Heslow's comments were against the core of Swedish values.
In an interview, Heslow said some students “for ideological causes” do not want to hear certain scientific facts about biological differences between women and men.
The university has asked Heslow to distance itself from two specific comments: that lesbian women have <x0 male sexual orientation” and that “if transsexuality is sexual orientation” has to do with definition. The professor refused to withdraw from these comments. /Periscopi
