This bacterium lives in the skin, and scientists have prevented it from producing toxins that cause inflammation, Kosovo Presses broadcast.

Treatment is a type of immun therapy that uses the body's immune system to combat bacteria.

This is a sign of hope for hundreds of millions worldwide who suffer from an unpleasant skin condition.

Experts at the University of California in San Diego said they had found a way to fight acne. Tests were performed in mice and human skin. They said that proteins from the immune system, antibodies, reduce skin swelling.

Prognacterium acnes bacteria live in the skin of most people, but it often causes red dots and inflammation.

“Current treatments for face paws have no effect. New, secure and effective treatment is, indeed, necessary for millions of teenagers suffering from acnet,” said the study's leader.
