While in the state of Kosovo, the Serb community learns by schedule of Serbia, the same is not happening in the Presevo municipality.
This municipality is hardly able to find a solution for Albanian students to learn according to the state programme, KTV reports.
Although speeches are held in Albanian, the problem for this community in the Serbian state remains the translation and adaptation of textbooks.
Students and professors say they would like to learn with the Kosovo programme.
The mayor of this municipality, Shqirim Arifi, says they have always called for reciprocity, but that the state in which they live is neglecting the demands of Albanians in this part.
Kosovo institutions have tried several times to send the books to Albanian schools in Presevo, Medvedja and Bujanoc, but Serbian authorities have always turned them back.
Otherwise, more than 100 elementary and high schools in Kosovo operate according to the Serbian programme, but professors are also paid by the Serbian state.
