Rot orders Macedonians: Show your courage in referendum

Germany's Foreign Ministry Minister for Europe Michael Roth has called on Macedonian citizens to show courage in the 30 September referendum.

He has told them to give the signal that they are ready for NATO and EU membership.

I'm here because people are young, I know and I understand their expectations. It is part of the people who may doubt or are not satisfied with the compromise achieved, but all should first think about the future of new generations. There cannot be a good future without a European perspective”, Rot has expressed itself.

This statement has been issued by the German in a debate on European values held in Skopje.
