At the ceremony, launched with a minute of silence for 19 police officers falling in charge, President Hashim Thaci and Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj have praised and honoured the current work of Kosovo police members.
In this case, the promotion of 5 lieutenant colonels, the four majors and 57 captains has also become medals, gratitude and praise.
President Thaci has promised fighting violence against women and has said neglect of these cases will be punished.
The prime minister, in addition to honouring and thanking members of the police, has also spoken of Kosovo's application for membership in Interpol.
During this ceremony, much emphasis was placed on combating violence against women and gender equality.
Also promised was the women's greater involvement in the Kosovo Police ranks.
But out of over 70 separate medals and recognitions, only 5 were for female officials.
