The country's basic prosecutors are investigating over 60 cases of contempt or for false statements of public officials' property, which the Kosovo Anti-Corruption Agency has handed over this year. Among the officials being investigated are prosecutors, judges, ambassadors, members of public enterprise boards, municipal asambitists, etc.
Two prosecutors, several judges, a Kosovo ambassador, members of public enterprises boards and municipal asambitors are being investigated by the country's basic prosecutors for non-recognition or for false property statements.
Investigations into these senior public officials are under way following files handed down by the Kosovo Anti-Corruption Agency at the State Prosecutor.
Shaip Havollli, executive director of the Kosovo Anti-Corruption Agency, has confirmed to the newspaper “Voice” that during this year the prosecution has handed in 60 cases that are related to non-declaration or to false statements of public officials' property. /Sound/
