PDK GP chief Memli Krasniqi has met Kosovo Valley political representatives today in the Kosovo Assembly. Krasniqi has confirmed that his party is willing to support the Valley Resolution, which was planned by President Hashim Thaci.
At separate meetings, he has hosted Albanian Democratic Party Chairman Ragmi Mustafa, as well as Bujanovac Mayor Shaip Kamberi, accompanied by Party for Democratic Action deputy chairman Ardita Sinani and Albanian MP in Serbia's Parliament, Fatmir Hasani.
At these meetings, political representatives of Albanians in the Presevo Valley have voiced their demands for resolving the many problems they are constantly facing. They stressed that the situation in the Valley is serious and that citizens face numerous difficulties. Valley representatives praised the fact that Kosovo is primarily discussing their situation and readiness that the issue of Albanians in the Valley will be one of the central themes in Brussels in the Kosovo dialogue Serbia.
On his part, PDK Parliamentary Group Chairman Memli Krasniqi praised the efforts of the political factor in the Valley for realising the demands of Albanian citizens in that three places. Krasniqi confirmed PDK support for their legitimate demands and stressed that the Assembly of Kosovo is obliged to make decisions for the final phase of the Kosovo dialogue Serbia and in this discussion to include the issue of the Presevo Valley. This, he said, could also be done through a resolution that takes into account the will of the citizens of the Valley and that would have to be supported by all parliamentary political subjects in Kosovo.
Krasniqi and the political representatives of the Presevo Valley agreed to be in constant communication for addressing the demands and needs of Albanian citizens in Valley”, the communique sent to the media notes.
