The chairman of the Social Democrat Initiative at the same time deputy prime minister in Kosovo government, Fatmir Limaj, has said a political class unity is needed, since international topics are not negotiated daily.
Speaking of Serbia's disapproval of it as Kosovo delegation leader, Limaj has said it is over when Serbia has chosen people in Kosovo.
“Time when Serbia has tried to find Albanian representatives that fit them has ended in 1999. This well shows their thinking. I don't believe there are Albanians who would like to talk to Dacicin or Vucinciqi, but they are elected by their people”, Dukaj said on TV.
The deputy prime minister has said there is currently no proposal from Serbia that she will recognise Kosovo's independence at any cost.
“Let Serbia say that you are loving half of Kosovo in exchange for the recognition of Kosovo, and we will give our answer”, Limaj has said.
Limaj has said that unless he officially started dialogue, nothing can be prejudiced.
We don't know what we're talking about. We have our demands, as they are: recognition, UN membership, but from Serbia we do not have any official offer. If territories are attached to Kosovo, it doesn't work, but if the opposite happens, so territories should be given, that's what everyone can do.”
The head of the Social Democrat Initiative has said we have great distrust in Kosovo, but at this moment we must be united.
In Kosovo we have distrust. We have questionable personalities. We have distrust for various reasons. I have problems with the president, it's normal. But this is a national topic. But, in Brussels we have to get together and take responsibility”, Limaj said.
