Kosovo Deputy Prime Minister Fatmir Limaj has for the first time responded to Serbian President Aleksandar Vuciq, who said days ago he does not want the initiative's leader at the head of Kosovo-Serbia dialogue.
Limaj, who has been voted in the Kosovo government as the leader of talks with Serbia, has said that the time when Serbia has tried to find Albanian representatives who adapted to them has ended in 1999.
Serbia has tried to find that honest Albanians, even as far as Rambouillet and that logic has ended. No one would ever sit down with Vuciciq, who has been former Milosevic's minister, but he is representative of the Serbian delegation and we should sit down and talk”, Limaj said at RTV Dukagujni.
Pristina, Sarajevo, Zagreb, Brussels, Paris, London and Berlin, Limaj says they know who Vuciqi is.
“It has been a designer and implementing ethnic cleansing in Croatia, Bosnia, all know who he is, but is representative of Serbian citizens. We should focus on selecting topics which are of interest to Kosovo”, Limaj added.
