“The stance of the Democratic League of Kosovo is that, the president of Kosovo, initially procrastinating to the appointment of new members of the CEC, since the June 2017 elections, then, referring to the issue with a late year, as if to ask for opinion about the composition of the CEC, has acted in full opposition to the Kosovo Constitution under which it should ensure the functioning of the constitutional bodies of the Republic of Kosovo<1>, Beqiri estimates.

Today, in the quality of the LDK secretary-general and deputy of the Kosovo Parliament, I have delivered my comments and the Democratic League of Kosovo to the issue raised by the president to the Constitutional Court concerning the composition of the Central Election Commission.
The position of the Democratic League of Kosovo is that, the president of Kosovo, initially dragging on the appointment of new CEC members since the June 2017 elections, then referring to the case with the late court, as if to ask for an opinion about the composition of the CEC, has acted in complete opposition to the Kosovo Constitution under which it should ensure the regular functioning of the constitutional bodies of the Republic of Kosovo.
Such biased behavior of the president, sometimes even trying to dictate the names of representatives of the political parties in the CEC, especially the opposition, which, according to the formula for dividing the countries practiced so far, constitutes the majority in the CEC, constituted direct contact in our country's parliamentary and democratic system. The Democratic League of Kosovo expects the Constitutional Court to deal with it urgently and to give its fair opinion about this issue in order for the CEC- as an independent, impartial and permanent body to be extracted from this blockade that has been introduced by (not) Hashim Thaci's political actions!
