Lavrov backs dialogue between Thaci and Vucinqi

Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov has spoken in New York about dialogue between Kosovo and Serbia, giving support to what is currently under way between presidents Aleksandar Vuciq and Hashim Thaci.

“Russia supports resolving Kosovo's problem and dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina should continue in line with UN Security Council Resolution 1244. We will support the solution, which is acceptable to Serbia”, Lavrov” has said, KTV reports.

He has warned that the agreements reached under EU supervision are not being implemented. Russian top diplomat has said the military pride authorised by the UN Security Council is being transformed into an American base, and with this case the Kosovo Army is also being established.
