Vetevendosje Movement Chairman Albin Kurti has indicated that this party has started holding gatherings in different Kosovo towns to prepare for the 29 September protest. He said the VV would hold peaceful protesters and, according to him, anyone trying to turn it into violent protest would be considered infiltrated by power only to give a negative image of the protest's organisation.
Kurti at KTV said she sees dissatisfaction with citizens, and for that, they are convinced to go to protest, which is a peaceful march.
“We were initially interested in the protests being September 7th, then Vuciqi had to come to Kosovo, but we were organized not only to organize it, but to LDK, so we decided on September 15th or 22nd, after it came true, we decided on September 29th, the day the institutions didn't even work. We've had more time for gatherings, that'll affect the massity of protest. On that day, it will be seen that some citizens do not think as Thaci. He has neither principles nor exact intentions”, Kurti said.
The Vetevendosje movement, wanted this protest to be organised with the LDK, but Kurti says this happened, but they'll do it on their own. He mentioned independent MP Korab Sejdiu, who today said he will join this protest.
The LV leader said that the institutional crisis where Kosovo is located calls for, as he said, that we should not only deal with controversy within the system, but also have the square of crowded”.
Kurti indicated that she met about three times with LDK leader Isa Mustafen, and discussed political currentity and what they can do together. After the government boycotted us, we boycotted it, because a government like this, is truly unprecedented in this Parliamentary Republic”, he said further.
He said he is optimistic, that not only on protest day, but, even further, it will create room for shopping between Thaci and Vucinqi.
Kurt said he expects the exile to come in massive as well. “When we mobilized all for independent state, today I have a captured state, and those independent of the state are the main force to move forward”, he said.
