Kosovo institutions have 8 billion euros in assets

The value of the assets of central, local and independent institutions in the country has reached 8 billion euros. This data is published in the annual report of the National Audition Office (ZKA). According to the audience, the assets of central institutions, net capital assets presented in the Annual Financial Mirror (PFV) is 2,370,301,102 euros, while according to individual audits their value is 2,378,338,918 euros. The net value of noncapital assets presented at the PFV is 60,406,358 euros, while according to audits 28.880,236 euros. The failure of 31.526.122 euros is the result of overestimation of the values presented at the PFV.
In addition to inefficient management and poor controls, issues that are most frequently faced in auditing of assets to central institutions are: in four institutions, internal procedures for management of property are lacking, in eight non-functional institutions of the e-rich system, in five data non-compliance institutions between the total property registry and the inventory report”, the report states.
Furthermore, it is said that in four cases, no calculations of property decalification have been made in the e-riching system according to certain norms, in five institutions the inventory has not been conducted, as in one case no assets under 1,000 euros have been reported in the MF.
