Police began searching for Juan David Ortiz in the town of Laredo after a fifth woman managed to save them from their hands and asked for local police assistance.
Ortiz, who used to work at the military seals, first escaped but was then caught in a hotel parking lot.
Police report he's only committed murder.
Two of the victims were found earlier this month in a rural area on Interstate 35th Street, while the third and fourth victims were found in the same area last days.
A 42-year-old woman was found wounded Thursday, but died in the hospital.
District Attorney Isidro Alainiz described the killings as a terrible <x0rstrat” and confirmed that Ortiz will face four counts of murder and one for serious kidnapping.
He said all the victims had worked as prostitutes and that investigators were trying to find a motive for the killings.
The fifth woman reportedly left a gas station after Ortiz allegedly put a gun to her head when she tried to get out of his car.
