This is no longer something to hide. The central agreement requiring Vuciq and Thaci is that the relations of “are abnormalised “between Belgrade and Pristina, so that both sides will be obliged not to prevent each other on the international stage, first of all when it comes to membership in international organisations including UN”, he told DW.
Jeremic explains that the Alliance for Serbia supports continuing dialogue with Albanians because it believes that only through talks can sustainable solutions be reached for all open issues.
While in connection with the border change dispute, the former Serbian foreign minister says the West is also opposed to that version, as it would create a dangerous precedent, not just in the region.
“Changing borders on the basis of an ethnic principle, which is actually the essence of the Vucic-Thaci agreement, is a precedent. It is certain that in the future this precedent will be sought by other countries not only in the region but also in another part of the world”, he said.
