Ismet Beqiri reacts to the alternative from the coalition: Made MP through LDK, never more coalition

Democratic League of Kosovo Secretary-General Ismet Beqiri has reacted after leaving the coalition with his party -- the two deputies of the Alternative, Ilir Deda and Mimoza Kusari Lila.

He has said he received the information from the portals, implying that they were not properly informed by the two MPs that function within their parliamentary group.

“Information for their exit from the LDK Parliamentary Group, I saw it on portals, so we don't have any information about this happening. We respect their right to be independent, and obviously that umbrella, as the Speaker of the Alternative stated, as I read the big umbrella called the LDK, has undoubtedly helped them become deputies”, Beqiri said,

Beqiri has further implied that the LDK has made a mistake in entering pre-election coalitions, including AKR, which also emerged from the coalition.

“The LDK then has a pre-election coalition, and it is the first time that the LDK has followed the pre-election coalition not only with the alternative but also with the AKR, and maybe that makes us more aware that this remains the only case that LDK has made the pre-election coalition. Post-election must certainly take place, since in Kosovo it is difficult to win elections as the only party”, he said.
