While more than 5,000 traffic accidents ended with only material damage. Even though the high rate of accidents and traffic injuries has occurred during this period, 67 citizens have died as a result of road accidents.

As a result, the Temple today has called for increased attention in traffic as a result of increasing the number of students on the street as a result of the start of the new school year.

In view of the high risk of traffic, this summer's accidents, but also the beginning of the school year where traffic gets more intense and therefore more uncertain for children, as last year as well as this year's Ministry of Education, Science and Technology, along with the Temple Technical Applications College, the Kosovo Forum for Road Security and the Kosovar Motorization Association of AMRKS, calls on all participants in traffic to increase care during the movement on the streets. This call for increased road safety is directed to all motor drivers to be vigilant and to act in keeping with rules and traffic signs. In school environments, caution is enhanced in order to increase child safety along the way from house to school and, in turn,”, says the call from the Temple College, sent to the media.

From children at the same time, this college requires increased care and attention during the passage of the road and their movement into groups.

Because children are still lacking in physical education for proper traffic behavior, experts from these institutions based on the intended research conducted with students in the country's schools regarding the safety of children's movement on the street provide some guidelines and recommendations with concrete measures for parents and children on the eve of the start of the new school year”.

The temple has listed the following instructions:

) Parents are instructed always to accompany their children under the age of 10 from house to school, and in turn, unless the school is at all nearby and the children have no choice.

) Parents and teachers need to make sure that their children know the rules of safe movement on the street and that they recognize the traffic signs that belong to them.

A child's association from house to school should be done, and in turn, it must be done until parents make sure that their children know the road sufficiently and practice the whole course by moving safely.

) Parents and teachers should instruct their children to use the same route daily and avoid unnecessary shortcuts and intersections, parking lots, etc.

) Children should have comfortable clothing to move about freely (not clothing that limits their movement). It is possible that your children will be placed in bags or outside clothes in flune strips to be more easily observed by other traffic participants.

) Travel and teach your children not to move on the road between parked vehicles, workshops, or other obstacles on the road.

) Parents are instructed to receive from teachers or stewards the exact starting and finishing of school and daily monitoring the time and security of children's movements.

) Always guide and teach your children that on the way, they must be seen on both sides of the road before crossing the street. Do not cross the street even when there are bright signs for free passage, without looking back at both sides of the road and then making sure they cross the other side of the road.

) Children should be instructed and taught not to stop on the road and if they feel insecure to seek help from adults.

Parents make sure that the transportation of their children, from house to school, and vice versa is done regularly and safely by licensed vanbuses and other motor vehicles. At the end of the day, all parents pray they don't block with their cars the entrance to schools when they go to escort the children. Parents are instructed to park farther from school and to walk to school, except that they constantly block roads in the vicinity of schools, they also unwittingly endanger students ' safety.
