A citizen of Croatia since last year at a rally in downtown Zagreb hailed in a Nazi manner has been sentenced by a Croatian court of only 300 kuna, or about 40 euros.

The ruling reportedly argued that the right-hand rise was an official greeting during the time of Croatia's totalitarian regime of Independent State, Kosovo Press broadcasts.

A court in Austria long ago sentenced a Croat for the same move as 15 months in prison on bail.

The verdict was handed down by the court for opposing in Zagreb, while this symbolic amount will pay Branko Koledzic (55), who during a rally last year so welcomed those present, the telegram writes.
