However, at the resumption of the trial, Sekiraqa said it would remain silent in the prosecutor's questions and the court's court.
“No response, no prosecutor or juro did not answer”, Sekiraqa said.
On the other hand, Sequirah's lawyer, Kosovare Kelmendi, asked the court to reserve the right to continue this trial, if her defense changes his mind may have the opportunity to provide protection.
I request from the court that in the next stages there be the possibility of breaking the silence, since in later stages this change can remain”, the lawyer said.
The trial continued with the Special Prosecutor's Office's opening address, Hakki Gecaj.
The witnesses to be heard in this judicial review will prove that Enver Sekiraqa has planned and promoted Arben Berisha for committing the criminal act of the murder of Triff Ries of the 30.08.2007”, said Gecaj.
Gecaj said that at the end of the process after witnesses are heard and evidence is administered, it will be proven that Sekiraqa has prompted convict Arben Berisha to commit criminal work and I think that at the end of the trial review, this will be proved, and Enver Sekiraqa will be punished”.
In all contrast, Gecaj declared the protection of the Sekiraqa, who praised that the indictment should not have come to this stage.
We have a court ruling in front of ourselves that not only on the lines but clearly made us aware that this indictment should not have come to this stage at all. If the court indictment is seen as beginning with the problem of how criminal acts have been described in this indictment, referring to the chief of the assassination that now the late Triumf Riza, convicted Arben Berisha as head of the other Ilir Avdu God and others, but the question the defence will raise during this review is a stir, that in this criminal case the accused is accused of inciting and in another criminal case of co-ordination”, Kelmen said.
Kelmendi said that at the end of this process, no one will be convinced of the form or manner of promoting convicts Arben Berisha by Enver Sekiraqa from managed evidence.
In addition to rejecting the indictment, Kelmendi also sought the replacement of the detention measure with some milder measure, but her proposal was rejected.
Sekiraqa had been sentenced in 2016 to 27 years in connection with the instigation of the murder of police officer Triumf Riza, but the Court of Appeals found her backed up with the defense complaint and retriald the case.
